SOTI Internship 2023– Job Description:

SOTI Internship 2023— Eligibility Criteria:

SOTI is hiring interns for the position of Software Engineer through an Campus Drive. Please read the following criteria before applying for the job

Required Educational Qualifications:

• B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc/MCA
• Stream: CS/IT/ECE/ Information Science
• Year of Passing: 2023
• Job Role: Software Engineer
• Job Type: Interns
• Backlog/arrears: No bar
• Good Communication Skills and Verbal Skills
• Initiative and enterprise

Selection Process For SOTI Internship 2023:

• Aptitude Written Test Online
• Technical Interview
• HR Interview

Interview Date: Your Placement Officer Will notify you of SOTI’s interview dates.

Rounds of Interview: There will be two rounds of interview – Technical & HR.

Note: If there are other rounds of the selection process, you will be notified by the company once qualified for any further rounds

Online Test Process:

• Type of test: 100% coding questions.
• Choice of languages: You will have 5 languages to choose from, including: C++, C#, Java, Python and JavaScript.
• # of questions: 3
• # of test cases: Each question will have 2 to 5 test cases. There are 2 types – Default Test Cases and Basic Test Cases.
  • Default Test Cases will help ensure that your solution is on the right track. These Default Test Cases carry NO marks.
  • Basic Test Cases carry marks. Please ensure that you attempt ALL the Basic Test Cases.
• Duration: 3 hours and 15 minutes. Please make sure that you click the submit button before time is up. If you do not click submit, you may lose marks.

How to take the Online Test:

• You can take the test from home.
• Ensure you have a good, uninterrupted Internet connection (if possible, a broadband connection). If you have connectivity issues at home, please let your Placement Officer know immediately and request they make arrangements for you.
• Please use a laptop/desktop with a camera. Turn the camera on.
• Please ensure that all other applications are closed.
• Please attempt the test in a closed room where you are alone. Do not allow anyone to stand/sit near you or behind you.
• Do NOT use mobile phones or other devices while attempting the test.
• If you are disconnected for any reason, you may re-login within 20 minutes.
• Please contact the support team if you are not able to complete the test. (Available ONLY during the online test)

• You SHALL NOT use shortcuts (not even Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V/Ctrl-S), toggle between tabs or look elsewhere other than on the screen. The test is proctored (closely watched). After a few attempts, you will be automatically locked out.

Documents Required for SOTI Internship 2023:

1. Keep a copy of your latest resume within you during the application and the interview time.
2. Keep your cover letter handy.
3. Keep all the educational qualification documents, especially your graduation mark sheets, may require submission.
4. Your documents such as – Aadhar Card, Pan Card, Voter Card, Passport, etc., may be required.

Q1. Can students from other streams participate in the online test ?
Ans:- Yes, If you absolutely love programming and developing software products is your passion, you are welcome to apply!

Q2. Can I participate in the online test if I have backlog ?

Ans:-Yes, If you are really passionate about coding and if you can crack our exam, you are welcome.

Q3. When will I received the test link ? 

Ans:- You will receive the online test link on Friday, August 2022 and test exam will 27 August, 2022.  If you don’t received it by then, please inform your Placement Officer. Please check your Junk/Spam folder before contacting your Placement Officer.

Q4. Are there ant negative marks ?

Ans:- No. There will be no negative marks.

Q5. Is there an Employment Bond ?

Ans:- No. We do not ask freshers/interns to sign ant bond. However, our recruitment process is very selective and we intentionally seek candidates who want to make a long term commitment to growing within SOTI.

Q6. Can I apply for both internship and Fresher recruitment opportunities ?

Ans:- No. You need to choose between the two either intern or fresher (not both).

Q7. If I am successful and work at SOTI as an intern, is there an opportunity to become a full time employee with SOTI ?

Ans:- Yes, After the  successful completion of internship and review process. Please this is NOT an automatic conversion to be a full time employment.
